Overview

HairWave is a wellness and self-care application designed to help users build and maintain consistent hair-care routines, track their progress, and support habit building through guided routines and motivational content.

By creating an account or using HairWave, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use HairWave.

Certain features or access to HairWave require a paid subscription. Subscription purchases are processed and managed through the applicable app store or payment platform available for your device.

1. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through your account.

You may not misuse HairWave, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems, interfere with its operation, circumvent access or subscription controls, or use HairWave for unlawful purposes.

You are responsible for providing accurate information where requested and for keeping your account information reasonably up to date.

2. About HairWave

HairWave provides digital tools for organizing and following hair-care routines, tracking completed rituals and progress, and supporting consistent self-care habits.

HairWave requires an internet connection for core functionality and may rely on third-party services to provide features such as authentication, data storage, subscription purchases, and subscription verification.

3. Registration & Access

To access HairWave, you may be required to create or connect an account using one of the sign-in methods currently made available in the app.

Available sign-in methods may differ depending on your device, platform, or version of HairWave.

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account and device secure. You may not use another person’s account without authorization.

4. Subscriptions

HairWave offers access through a paid subscription. The subscription options, price, billing period, and any trial or promotional terms, where available, are shown before you confirm a purchase.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal in accordance with the rules and settings of the platform through which the subscription was purchased.

Subscription purchases and billing are handled by the applicable app store or payment platform. HairWave may use third-party technology to display subscription offers and facilitate the purchase experience.

Access to subscription features depends on the subscription being recognized as active and valid.

5. Age Requirements

You must meet the minimum age required to use HairWave under the laws applicable to you and the requirements of the platform through which you access the app.

Where parental or guardian consent is required by applicable law, you may use HairWave only with that consent.

HairWave is not intended to be used in violation of applicable age or consent requirements.

6. Intellectual Property

HairWave and its original content, design, branding, graphics, text, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit HairWave or its original materials without prior permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, software, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Pricing, Cancellation & Refunds

The price and billing period applicable to a subscription are displayed before purchase and may vary by platform, country, currency, subscription plan, or applicable taxes.

You can manage or cancel your subscription using the subscription management options provided by the platform through which you purchased it. Cancellation generally prevents future renewals while access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to the rules of the applicable platform and applicable law.

Refund requests are handled according to the rules of the platform through which the purchase was made and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Privacy & Data

HairWave processes personal data as described in the HairWave Privacy Policy.

Depending on how you use HairWave, this may include account information, information you provide through the app, routine and progress information, and information necessary to manage or verify subscription access.

For information about what data is collected, why it is used, how it is handled, and your privacy rights, please review the HairWave Privacy Policy.

9. Health & Medical Disclaimer

HairWave is a wellness, self-care, and habit-building app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

HairWave may provide routines or general information relating to hair-care products, including products such as minoxidil or rosemary oil. HairWave does not prescribe products or determine whether a particular product, medication, treatment, or routine is appropriate or safe for you.

Always follow the instructions and safety information provided with any product you use. If you have questions or concerns about hair loss, your health, medications, side effects, or treatment, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, seek appropriate emergency medical assistance.

10. Availability & Third-Party Services

HairWave relies on internet connectivity and certain third-party services to provide parts of its functionality. The availability of HairWave may therefore occasionally be affected by maintenance, technical problems, service interruptions, platform changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, update, improve, replace, or discontinue features of HairWave where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any rights associated with an active paid subscription.

Third-party services are governed by their own applicable terms and privacy practices. HairWave is not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HairWave and its operator are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on HairWave.

You remain responsible for how you use hair-care products and for following the instructions and safety information provided with those products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights where doing so would not be permitted by applicable law.

12. No Guarantee of Results

HairWave does not guarantee hair growth, prevention of hair loss, improved hair health, or any other specific physical, cosmetic, or emotional result.

Individual experiences and outcomes may vary based on factors including health, genetics, lifestyle, products used, and how those products are used.

Progress tracking, streaks, reminders, motivational content, and other app features are provided to support routine and habit building and should not be interpreted as evidence of a medical or treatment result.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to HairWave, our practices, legal requirements, or third-party services.

When these Terms are updated, the latest version date will be changed. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before material changes take effect.

14. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to HairWave where reasonably necessary, including in cases of misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, violation of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements.

You may stop using HairWave at any time and may delete your HairWave account using the available account deletion process.

Deleting your HairWave account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through an app store or other payment platform. You must separately cancel the subscription through the platform where it was purchased if you want to stop future renewals.

15. Applicable Law & Consumer Rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.

Where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, those rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

16. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms or HairWave, please contact us using the support or contact option provided in the app.
